We came to the conclusion that the Adidas Stan Smith is the best Adidas sneaker overall after evaluating them in our lab and rocking the streets in them for days. We made this decision not just because of its appearance and rich history, but also because we were astounded by three things: its luxurious comfort, its ability to withstand rain, and the fact that it requires very little upkeep.

We experienced firsthand how comfy the Stan Smith is after thoroughly trying it. As soon as we put them on, we could feel how soft the inside was. From heel to tip, we discovered that it was lined with buttery-soft leather.

We then examined the Stan Smith’s response to the rain. We poured a stream of water over it to see how it would perform in damp situations. As a result, the sneaker’s inner was largely dry but water trickled down the sides! With the exception of the holes, we discovered that the sneaker was waterproof and remained water-repellent.

The Stan Smith is showing extremely good results in terms of upkeep. We applied dye to its upper to test its stain-repelling capabilities. This demonstrated to us how well the leather of the Stan Smith resists stains. We also pressed a power drill with a wire brush against its top to conduct an abrasion test. We were impressed by the Adidas Samba’s excellent workmanship. They are authentic because when we held their leather and suede uppers up to our torch lighter, they didn’t catch fire. We also used our Dremel test to test the quality of the top and heel padding. We gave the durability of the upper and heel cushion a 4/5 because the materials were hardly impacted.

Because of its seamless and slender silhouette, we are not shocked to learn that this shoe is almost weightless. We weighed the Samba on our digital scale and found that it weighed 12.06 oz (342g), which is 15.6% less than typical sneakers. Unfortunately, this Adidas footwear did not breathe as well as we would have liked. In our breathability test, it only received a score of three out of five.
